Rules: You CAN work with other people, but you MUST stay in your seat.

Check out this video about the Constitution for Schoolhouse Rock!
The Constitution is the highest law in the United States. All other laws come from the Constitution. It says how the government works. It creates the Presidency. It creates the Congress. It creates the Supreme Court. Each state also has a constitution. The constitutions of the states are their highest law for that state — but the United States Constitution is higher. Read on to learn more about the constitution.

Students are writing personal narrative essays in class, and they can use this blogpost to continue working on those essays at home. A personal narrative essay is basically a writer’s personal story. In
this particular type of essay, students tell their experiences in
the hope of captivating the reader’s attention and probably teach a few
lessons or help the reader gain a little insight based on another
person’s story

- Go to docs.zoho.com and log-in. The username is jeffrey.maxim@inwoodacademy.org and password is "inwood".
- click on personal folders and then click on your class section.
- create a new document.
- rename your document and include your first name in the document's title.
- write nonstop for 40 minutes.

Not long ago, kids could get in trouble for using their cellphones during class. Today, some middle- and high-school teachers encourage it -- as long as students are using the devices for classwork. Teachers don't mind -- heck, they're using their smartphones for school as much as students. In fact, close to three-quarters of teachers in a recent survey say they or their students use cellphones in class or for homework. Read on to learn more about cell phones in school!
